Intro to Improv Workshop

Did you know that there are "official" yet "unofficial" rules to improvisational theatre...? You heard me right! Come learn these rules and how to use them to amp up your performances. We will be learning the basic concepts of improv and discussing the different ways learning improvisation can help your theater technique. Through the use of games and exercises you will gain a wealth of knowlege while having a blast! 

Improv Workshop will be held at HIghpointe Church on Thursday afternoon, September 15th from 12:45-3:00pm. Workshop is free for members and $5 for non Spotlight members.

Makeup Workshop

Knowing what kid of makeup to use and how to apply it is serious business for an actor. Whether you are male or female, it is important to know the basics of theatre makeup. This workshop will help you understand the differences between theatre makeup application for males and makeup application for females. You will leave this workshop with enough makeup knowledge to create your own "basic makeup kit" that can be used for your performances. 
Makeup Workshop will be held at Highpointe Church on Thursday afternoon, September 22nd from 12:45-3:00pm. 
Fee: Spotlight Members--$5.00
Non Spotlight Members--$10.00

Theater Basics Workshop

Our first workshop for the 2016 Fall Session will be held on Thursday afternoon, August 18th, from 12:45-3:00. This workshop is open to all students ages 9-19. There are 16 available slots in this workshop.
This workshop will focus on:
*Basic theater concepts
*Some theater history study
*Theater lingo and terminology
*Theater etiquette
*Introduction to blocking notation
and more
This would be a great review for students that would like a brush up on their theater knowledge as well as a great introductory class for those new to theater.
WORKSHOP FEE:
Workshop is FREE for all Spotlight Productions members and $5 for all non-members.
