Ken, is not only one of our executive directors at Spotlight, he is also an award-winning composer and recording artist. His instrumental albums, Portals to Heaven, Acoustic Retreat I and Acoustic Retreat II are popular among instrumental music fans worldwide. His music was first released on Pandora in 2010, and can now be found in virtually every music store online, including iTunes, iHeart Radio, Amazon.com and on streaming services like Youtube, Spotify and Pandora.

My fourth instrumental album, called Anamcara, came out on March 13, 2021. And with it, starting on Jan. 25, 2021, I launched a new facebook page called Ken Wood Music. It's going to have a unique twist and feel to it which I think many of you will like. So, keep reading to find out more of what I am dreaming:

As a composer, my favorite genres of music in which to compose and record are movie sound scores like you hear in Lord of the Rings, and Chronicles of Narnia; and Celtic music like you hear in the touring shows Riverdance, #Lord of the Dance and Celtic Woman, or in an Irish pub.
​
I am fascinated with the ancient architecture of castles, cathedrals, and cities, especially those one would find in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe.
I dig medieval history, and the legends and lore of saints, brave knights, and noble quests, which poured forth from those times. Ancient Church history greatly captivates me, as well. ANAMCARA.

So, more than just sharing my new original music, I want to use this facebook page and companion website to create a community for likeminded fans to explore the music, art, fashion, architecture of the Medieval, Renaissance and Biblical periods.
Finally, you will get the latest updates on what new music I am writing, how I find inspiration, and what goes into the process of producing it for radio, streaming, and digital release.
